Nola Casserly is a licensed marriage & family therapist who specializes in the comprehensive understanding of well being through the lens of neurobiology and attachment. She approaches her work with great respect for the innate healing intelligence that she believes exists in every human being.
“My work as a therapist, which I truly love, boils down to listening — listening to stories — and trying to understand the very essence of what it means to be human. The dynamic and multi-faceted interplay of temperament, attachment security, deeply-rooted legacy patterns, and cultural history, “organizes” each one of us and uniquely animates our current way of being. Most importantly, it shapes our capacity to love and experience joy. How we can re-imagine the symptoms of mental and physical illness together in this context and reveal new possibilities for healing and raising our children is the focus and passion of my work.”
